these days i/my band run a new label - ROBOT LUST.
so far we have released a bunch of our own stuff, and have some more releases coming up in the near future.

so far we have:
blue shirts - cdr
blue shirts - banned from tape
blue shirts - we jam with jam in a jam tape
blue shirts - $4 tape
blue shirts - tshirt

the cdr, and the tapes are $4, and the tshirt is $7 plus shipping.

our website:
http://www.robot-lust.blogspot.com/

listen to some blue shirts stuff:
http://radio3.cbc.ca/bands/Blue-Shirts
http://www.reverbnation.com/blueshirts

we'll soon have a zine out, and as well 2 split tapes are in the works.
we take well hidden cash, paypal, and WE WELCOME TRADES!!!

PM me here, or email: robot dot lust dot records at g mail dot com

edit: Keegan (skullfuckingmetal) also has some of those tapes for distro, and i believe cheaper then here.

we'll have to work on a CS/BS show for sure. since we started i wanted to play with something as raw as CS.. i think we are more similar to stuff like that than most metalheads would like to admit.
silly stuff like metal archives are relied on too much to determine what the hell is metal and whats not. to me, the attitude is what determines if something is metal, not necessarily the technical aspect of it. i couldnt care less if song X follows the ABC of scales and timing changes to fit the mould of being Z metal.
i guess i would consider a lot of stuff that isnt 'metal' by blabbermouth/metalarchives standars as metal. stuff like lustmord, merzbow, and vennt, is metal to me, just because of the attitude and i dont care if thee mighty reviewer Beelzeebub doesnt agree just because vennt does not use tremolo picking, and lustmord doesnt use drums.

I tottaly agree man!
We are defintally on the same level.

hehe We played 2 shows this past weekend.

Friday nights show led to 4 crusiers showing up after our set, we were covered in real blood via cutting up in the bathroom lol inverted crosses painted on us, real blood corpse paint and a shit load of swatskias drawn all over our arms, extremely violent pit bottles breaking and so on lol

saturday nights set we had 2 literally naked girls on stage, lol and lotza blood once again, it was wild....I played totttaly out of tune and didnt give a flying fuck haha our new drummer is a mad man on drums, he plays in a local band called KAIJU and they play dooooooooom and do covers by Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and Sabbath!

Was a wild show and I was really happy that CRUCIFIST enjoyed us and wants to do it again very soon!!

keep me posted when BS wants to gig Toronto and we will for sure arrange something! Cheers!

crazy haha.. what were the cruisers for? noise complaints or someone called em on your stage antics?
do people 'get' you guys when you play? or are they all just weirded out by the crazy shit?

a new doom band eh, i should check em out.. toronto seems to be pretty good with doomy bands, at least fromt he stuff that i know.
here, a couple of times a year theres a 'dub sabbath' show. black sabbath covers played dub reggae style. ive gone a while ago, and that was fucking sweet.

The bars owner called em in during Malaria's set as Malaria's vokalist was in a argument on stage with the bars owner.

Hmm a mixture...some got us but alot didn't Laughing

Ya man, defintally look up KAIJU, they are most excellent and have a cdr demo out now.

now available:
Blue Shirts - Mean Green tape.

There will be only one copy made available for public to order, the rest have been given out to some band members, and friends. A total run of 5 or 6 copies.
Each copy comes with a unique, hand-made cover.
Do you want to own the only copy made for the general public? It'll set you back $4.

Recorded in September 2009, this is the newest BS recording released to date. Heavily influenced by Japan.

you know how to contact me.
