| This is a topic to talk about the last fanzines (Or underground metal magazines) you read lately. The last two days I received: DEMONS JAIL #2 CRYPTS OF ETERNITY #3 _________________ To trade or not to trade, so is the rotting question...

| CHROMIUM DIOXIDE (not really a fanzine, more like a comic with a metal touch. The section on the metal mascots is hilarious! Not sure if 'Kaptain Krunch' belongs in the good mascots though...) THRASH ATTACK #7 (some questions could maybe be a touch more cultured, but I suppose Thrash metal isn't really a genre that relies on deep thinking. Better than his first issues) Just waiting for wheresmyskin to arrive. |

I think that's why I stopped reading it... I didn't have the feeling of learning much, apart thrash is great and some bands are great... Well I summarize quite strongly maybe, but I need sthg more. Same problem for some other thrash zine I got... _________________ To trade or not to trade, so is the rotting question...

Did you buy this through his email address? I tried to contact him, but the email address I used didn't work, I got a message that the account didn't exist.

About 60% interviews and reviews, 40% comic and comic type articles. |

Is it worth the read? Are the comics cool, or is it not? I'm still wondering... The moniker reminds me some old tapes... Christkum you gonna let me know! Should I stay or should I go? _________________ To trade or not to trade, so is the rotting question...

Not sure where you'll be able to find the first BlackPlague (maybe Legion of Death? You might need to ask around on some Siam Metal forums - not sure what language it is they use though...), but apparently his third one is quite impressive.
Sure, can dub the Obscure Torture tape, no problem. Cunt Paste #3 will be ready by around 20/09/2009 (TRIBULATION, KARNARIUM, UNHOLY CRUCIFIX, BASTARD PRIEST, PROFANER, NOCTURNAL EVIL, SCYTHIAN (is it pronounced scythe? Or sieve?), BLOODY SIGN, SLAUGHTBBATH, PROSANCTUS INFERI and SALUTE. All the other shit like reviews, live reviews, guitar tabs, blablabla about books/films/etc too. I've got about 64 or 66 pages done, looking to have less than 80. Postage is the real killer, especially as I can't sell the thing in the UK.), so if you want I can send the zine along with it.

The reviews aren't too impressive (mainly material that is well known in the underground), but it has some nice interviews, some fella that was in Megadeth at some point, plus a couple of other old heavy metal bands. Writing is 50% Isten, 50% National Lampoon. A bit nerdy at times, but well written.
Might not be worth paying the postage for it, though a friend picked up a copy when Cauldron were touring in the summer. |
