NEW EP FINALIZED!
The recordings of the Coprofagi EP have now been finalized. Two songs from the upcoming release, namely 'Partyraptor' and 'Coño Por Favor', have been uploaded for your listening displeasure.

The EP, featuring 7 Coprofagi originals, is due in the near future via Sick-O-Pathic Productions. The AtroCD was recorded and mixed by Samu Salovaara of Swallowed and features exclusive cover-art and booklet design by the one-and-only Sadist Stalker.

The lineup has changed once more, with the original drummer Nik-Yo Amfetamin (H.D.A. (Heavy Drug Abuse), ex-Turtle) returning for skit-duty.

Jussi 696 a.k.a JonJon Fukkdup (ex-Dripping White Shit, ex-Alcoholic Coma) is once more taking on the guitars and pig-squeels.

Coprofagi first timers Ronyboy (as Guitarded) and SamSam RapeU (as Session Bazz), complete this cast of fiddlers.

Additionally the EP will feature lyrics and 'Interludes / Temples' evoked by Coprofagi bassist Ä.S.Ratth.

Guest Vocals on the track 'Coño Por Favor' are guttered by Señor Por Favor himself ... presenting Osku (Virgin Desecration Command, ex-Period Fetish).

... Be prepared to have your face kicked in by a dromaeosaurid theropod!
Coprofagi returns from the mortuary, with an injection of disgusting old school sickness flowing through their veins.

compiled by Immu from Slugathor and the compilation will include Finnish (death/black metal) bands only. So far the bands confirmed besides Hooded Menace (among others) are: Stench of Decay, Irritate, Serpent Ascending (Slugathor bass player), Coprofagi, OfDoom and Cadaveric Incubator (Slugathor Antti) and new band feat. Tommi of Slugathor alone. This awesome review to the Finnish underground metal is to be released Summer-Fall 2010.

New singer and music video

Hello everybody! First of all we are happy to announce that Niko Kalliojärvi has become a fulltime member of Lithuria as a 2nd vocalist. He already did his vocal parts for new coming album. The album..s recordings are already done but unfortunately we don..t know the exact release date.

We also shot a music video which was directed by Mikko Pohjola. Big thanks to Mikko for taking care of arrangements and everything! He..s the guy behind the cult classic Splattenstein Trilogy so the music video will contain explicit gore and nudity! Check out the pictures from the photo section.

SOTAJUMALA:


We’ll be hitting studio in January
On Monday January 11th 2010 we’ll enter Studio Audio in Jyväskylä to start recording our third album! In the following four weeks we’ll be working long days at both Studio Audio and Basement Alliance with Tuomas Kokko to finish the album. Mastering will be handled by Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers in Helsinki on February 8th.

We’re shooting for late spring release in Finland and hopefully a proper plan for other territories too. The name of the album hasn’t been decided yet, but who knows what happens during the next couple of weeks.

SERPENT ASCENDING:


October 21, 2009 - Wednesday
The IVth Crusade
Serpent Ascending will be featured on the finnish underground metal compilation "Metal on Metal - IVth Crusade". Other bands that have been confirmed to appear on this release are Hooded Menace, Stench of Decay, Irritate, Coprofagi, OfDoom and Cadaveric Incubator. More bands will be announced later but it already seems that this is going to be an interesting compilation. The third and the latest release in the Metal on Metal series compiled finnish black metal bands and I have really enjoyed listening to that one.

The recordings for the next offering of Serpent Ascending will be started during October-November. 4 songs are ready to take their final form but we're definitely not hurrying with the recordings as we want to be totally satisfied with the outcome.
