| Never really liked their later technoical Death. Only really like the more Death-thrash earlier stuff. |

If maybe they could have done an album that had the heaviness of Consuming Impulse, combined with the ripping pace of Malleus Maleficarum, it would have killed! But instead they did the Testimony album, which wasn't that good. |
I feel like the first album also kinda stumbles... Some riffs don't do much for me, maybe coz it's a bit too thrashy?
The big problem with Testimony are all these intros... It kinda wastes the listening... Maybe the production is a bit too 'light' also... _________________ To trade or not to trade, so is the rotting question...

| Just looking on these myspace things.... Monday, January 21, 2008 Pestilence Everybody!!! Well, it's getting to be reality! The resurrection of the mighty PESTILENCE. Line-up: Tony Choy, bas Peter Wildoer, drums Patrick Mameli, guitarz and vox This doesn't mean C-187 is dead!!!! I'm currently working on new Pest material and it looks like this stuff is gonna be heavier and more brutal than ever before!!!! So be prepared for some new Pest stuff!!!! Patrick Mameli the problem with the Testimony album was that it seemed to try and compete with all the Florida 'clean' production bands. When at the same time there was all the Incantation/Immolation/Demigod type darker material coming out.... |
