your favourite VOIVOD album

myself I like their 80s stuff better since I don't really know what they did after Snake's departure. tough choice between Roaaar, Killing Technology, Dimension Hatross. what about you guys.

From the albums you quoted, Rrrroooaaarrr would probably get the last position, while the 2 other ones are great.

I also like the very first one "War and pain" but for other reasons, such as crass, dirt and destructive metal feeling

I also don't know very well what they did after 1994,
"Negatron" is Ok/ quite cool...

they had a quieter period in the late Snake days, but they did a Pink Floyd cover very worth checking. Dimension Hatross perhaps gets my vote. I love Snake's voice on this one while on the previous three he sounds quite cheesy.

Not really,
War and pain was much more "Rock 'n roll" and energetic while on the second one they began to control the playing much more, I think they began to search a new style that wasn't really efficient before the third album.

ok, i only know one song from W&P and it sounds like Motorhead or kind of. agree with you for the playing.
