Iron Maiden commemorating their legendary world slavery tour

did you guys know about that tour? although I've never been the biggest Maiden fanatic around, and couldn't care less about their later releases I think I'll check it. even if this seems to be an obvious cash-in-on-the glorious-past operation. whatever!

I heard "Brave new world" one or two times and it didn't seem bad...
But it's not my current cup of tea...

same here, I listened to BNW a couple of times. it wasn't bad but never got me hooked.
but this tour seems cool, plus it's been ages since my last "big" gig (AC/DC in 2000)

Its cumming to Toronto, I'd love to go but getting good seats might be a issue.

Yeah- It is at the Air Canada Centre.....I think the top row areas are seats thou which would fukkin suck big time ass.

They play in a rugby stadium in the UK. It costs £80 ~ 120 euros. For the same amount of money I've seen about 15 gigs of good bands who aren't old farts. And I can't imagine there would be good beer in a rugby stadium (though you could bring a picnic basket...)

Last year I went to London with the eurostar it costed something like 90 €.
you're probably right but take into accounts that Paris pubs are very expensive for the most part

It's not better tasting, it's only cheaper to buy Finbar's isn't too bad, but these are all Irish drinks. English ones are Carling, Marstons,Strongbow, Boddingtons etc. And the 'exported' stuff (Stella Artois, Carlsberg), it's all brewed in Leeds/Northen England!

I've never found any Frenchies who like Stella......

me either. I know little almost nothing about English beers because I usually drink Guinness in pubs...but if you like French beers you should try some Gold (common lager but good) and Goudale (very tasty & a bit heavier), la bière du Démon (heavy blonde 12%) or Mort Subite (heavy brunette 15%!). Adelscott isn't bad too. one cool thing about this country is that it's near Belgium so we have lots of Grimbergen in our shelves too hehe

in central Paris it can go up to 12 € :sarcastic: elswhere it's mostly 6.50 or 7.00 € (in suburbs too). I know only 1 or 2 goth bars where a pint costs less than 5 €, and that was couple years back.
