AMON is back.....

In the beginning of 1990, Amon changed their name to Deicide.

The Hoffman brothers started using the Amon again in 2007, a few years after being kicked out of Deicide. The demos listed here are really Deicide releases.


Brian Hoffman - Guitars (ex-Deicide)
Eric Hoffman - Guitars (ex-Deicide)
Mike Petrak - Drums (Success Will Write Apocalypse Across the Sky, Leprosy (US))
Jesse Jolly - Bass (Diabolic, Crimson Massacre, Blastmasters, Success Will Write Apocalypse Across the Sky, Evixion, Promethean Horde, ex-After Death (US))


I wonder if they are gonna play old styled death metal? Has anyone heard much about this?

What the fuck... I don't call that a come back at all... AMON and DEICIDE were simply the same band under another name...

If they play cool music, why not... But I'm not sure if it will be cool...

Yes- but AMON has 2 different members now of course....

I'm wondering what label will release their stuff if they release a new album, and if they will sound like AMON did in the late 80s?

Considering the fact they were a part of DEICIDE' developpment, I'm not sure if they could avoid 15 years of evolution or so... Maybe they should play speed metal, and then everyone from the current retrooooooooooooooo scene would be happy

Well, band names seem to be running dry in 2008 so I wouldn't be the least bit shocked if the one is from Peru and the other is from Portugal.

INTRAJUGULAR PNEUMOSECTOMY could mean something like taking away the lung from inside of the veins, but it's senseless and PNEUMOSECTOMY is an invented word in French/ English...

Never really liked Deicide. Amon Goeth (the Czech one) were cool though.

As well as in every enterprises, there are administrative services...
In my case, it's medical related, but I do not see any patient, nor surgeon, nor sexy mistress... It's the service that centralizes every patient's datas... I do some analyzes and kinda programmation in Excel (Automation... it makes my job much easier héhé)
