Nathaniel...?

I was reading through some of the older live reviews on the site, and some were written by someone called Nathaniel. Was this the editor of Mutilating Process? Just there's a review of a Bloody Sign gig, and I thought he was in them briefly?

Do you still take contributions from other writers Gab?

It's the same Nathaniel who did Mutilating process and now sings in a heavy thrash band...

I don't have other contributors now...
Sometimes Tigi on this board did reviews, but he's already busy on another webzine...
Another guy might have done live reports or even some inties(?), but he seems too busy visiting every possible gigs and festivals...

I never particularly searched for contributors, at least since years... These are peoples I know since some time and would fit...
After all, I like to do everything myself... Even if it can be slow (such as the last year), it's me and there's no regret...

I heard about prostitution and things like that, but his zoophile enterprise didn't seem to work out too much... Apparently he tried the scato but wasn't best either... Last news is he went back to school... Maybe he prefers little girls after all?

Can do if you want. I'm likely to be at the NWN! fest in November (Dead Congregation, Ares Kingdom, Nocturnal Graves, Revenge etc etc. Some Black Metal, but none of the face painted forest loving loons. Pest are, but I seem to remember them being ok (or might have been the Swedish one? Not the Finnish one...)) so could possibly get a review for that done. Depending on the state of mind I end up in though of course! (German beer+++ )

but I would be interested in more underground concerts...
This kind of "festival" will already be covered in many zines, and most of the bands are known from my readers etc...
Little putrid gigs in english caves or irish bars with deep underground bands would be sexier for me

Ok, but unfortunately there aren't too many underground UK gigs featuring primarily English bands that might not be well known over the channel... Most Death metal gigs hear are an embaressment, mostly grunto gurgle grind that becomes very tedious after 2-3 songs. Or techno plastic filth. The only good gigs tend to be in London, Anal Vomit / Bloody Sign is next month, though they tour the rest of Europe as well.

The only Blek Mettle on Invictus that I can recall is the KILL album. Mainly they do grinding militant Death Metal, Spearhead, Sangium Imperererem, Diocletian, that kind of thing.
Maybe the label isn't 10 years old, but the owner...? :heinnn:

I'm not sure if Tonyn Destructor can tour with Anal Vomit, so its likely this gig will not get too drunken / insane / literal anal vomit from the stage, to the point where I forget everything. Will let you know what I can do closer to the actual date.

Spearhead is black/ death or something... Diocletian might be closer to war metal, or black death... Most of this label's stuffs seem to be rooted in the "black death" side of things, and so it doesn't really belong to the Death metal world I like...

You might be interested in the new Apocalypse Command album they've just put out. The usual shredding / Angelcorpse type material, a bit heavier, thicker sounding.

Spearhead are now on Agonia, though the new album doesn't have as many stand out riffs it's much more consistant, a better album on the whole.

+ I think mr. Nathaniel is contributing to Compilation of Death zine #2... (they should sort out their flyers, 'send your stuff to the pages of Compilation of Death 'zine, the dullest and most intense fanzine you'll be able to get these days.'

Apocalypse Command isn't too close to ANGEL CORPSE, it's much closer to something like a basic BLASPHEMY...

Maybe it's halfway between Profanatica and Revenant. It's rough, but not too rough, there's certainly some complex riffs in there even if the production values are quite crude. But you might prefer the Blasphemic Cruelty over them.

Dull = colourless / uninteresting. It can also be used regarding stupid people (dull / dense). I wonder what they initially intended to say? Darkest?
