What is your favourite Megadeth LP from their earlier years?

Tough call for me....Between Peace Sells and Countdown....Countown is one of the first records to really get me into thrash metal and away from only really listening to glam rock and grunge music.

Peace Sells....the artwork to this day still amazes me, reminds me of what happened in NYC on 9/11, if you take a good look you'll see what I mean

Part of me wants to say Peace but I'm going to have to go with Countdown as well that album is just hard rocking balls out.

This time it's "Killing is my...", young and pure and hateful as needed.

Did someone listen to the last Megadeth albums, and is it any good?

I put multiple choices possible on this poll so that I could vote for:
Peace sells, Rust in peace and Countdown...

I didn't listen to Countdown since a long time, it was more in my college years... It's a bit the same for Rust in peace... But globally, I think these two are still better than the first one and "So far"...
The first has a good metal atmosphere, and "So far" has some good riffs, but I listen to these even more rarely.

"Peace sells" has a good atmosphere, good riffs, nice skills... Some riffs sound quite devilish... I don't like so much one or two songs, but it's one of the best albums all in all.

Dave Mustaine is one of teh most intelligent men in metal, here is a great interview with Dave and Alex Jones about the New World Order and how USA is no longer safe etc.
