CDr demos in DVD cases....

What do you guys think of CDr demos that are in DVD cases?

I find that this is a growing trend and I can't understand why, as the cost of shipping a dvd case is alot more then a jewel case.

They take up more space and don't really fit into most cd racks ok. :heinnn:

It doesn't look bad,
but mostly peoples into industrial/ electronic music release such kind of stuffs... Did you eat too much indus noise Keegan?

Not yet, i'm too busy listening to old styled thrash metal!

My preference goes to the cd in a 7"ep cover size haha ! A great moment of solitude.

I'm really into the floppy disk releases... It's so sweet... You could need something like 15 floppies for a 25 minutes long release! :up

No I was joking
It would be hard to release somthing on floppy... A floppy can host about 1,4 Mo, while an average Mp3 song is around 3-4 Mo...

For answering the question, I find Cd (r) in dvd cases stupid. I prefer a "normal" case, it's more underground :firedevil:

I always find that cdr cases break whenever you touch them. So they just end up in a broken pile. Maybe DVD cases dont break as much?
