it's almost the contrary for me

I always found Chuck to be like Mike Davis. No doubt he is easily one of the mostr technically gifted guitarist about, but just needed someone else who could create the metal frame for the song. Later Death work and Thresholds/Ethereal tomb just sound like a coleection of flashy scales rather than proper songs.


And Scream Bloody Gore/Leprosy vs Horrified/Strappado/early Massare demos/what Chris Reifert did/etc etc. Only one winner for me! (though some of the Leprosy era live stuff was great!)

Heh, I actually got to meet him. There are few times in a persons life that their expectations were surpassed in a positive way. That experience, and hopefully future ones will just solidify it.

Intellectualism over movement and meaninglessness. Essentially thats what nihilism is, the adherance to nothingness so that the self can flourish in it's own right.
