| Now, am I the only person who can't understand what a brutal metal is? What makes a band Death metal, and one BRUTAL Death metal?!?!?
It could just be because I've had my head in a hole (I liked Death metal as it was......DEATHLY! Not.... brooootal???), but I really can't think of any Brutal Death metal bands that are standing out or have lasted more than a week. Maybe because I don't like the local kids that play it (they know how to ride bicycles! It's unnatural at that aghe!!!!) I don't want to try anything, but alot of them seem to have CDs that sell in the hundreds, but who will remember them in 5, 10 years time???? NO ONE!!!!
Bleeeugh.... I'm too tired for making sense.
I just want peopler to show their brewtal Myspace sites, so I can look at the porn stars comments.......

| contemporary death will suck as long as people keep thinking that blast=brutality, downtuning=heaviness, technique=songwritting, and so on. _______________________ si tu te réveilles un matin sans avoir mal nulle part, c'est que tu es mort. SLIP NEVER RUSTS

| i think it's because they smoke so much fucking pot.
seriously, everytime i get stoned, the shittiest, most uninspired garbage seems to sound good.
and when i drink, only good awesome music sounds good.
for example tool for soem reason is good on pot, but when i listen to it, i realize it's gayness when sober/drunk. _______________________ My awful bands! http://www.misterpunch.net/godimpaler - 80's alcohol thrash http://www.myspace.com/crustlustband - crust/grind attack

| who are Tool????
Just to make clear though, there are some bands who are able to play a more crushing Death metal (just an example, the recent Corpus Mortlae EP), and it wouldn't really suit them to have an old school crustier production. I guess it's important to have a good variety of production values, rather than just the 'no keyboards, no blasting, no fun, no beer etc etc etc' type boring attitude for every band.
