KATALYSATOR becomes INVIDIOUS

Swedish KATALYSATOR recently changed their name to INVIDIOUS and with this change they opened a new myspace-account at http://www.myspace.com/invidiousdeathmetal including the following entry in their blogsection: “INVIDIOUS is exactly the same band as KATALYSATOR, but with a different purpose. With the first KATALYSATOR tape we only wanted to play old-sounding Death Metal. But now we have understood that it is so much more and with the "Mass Genocide Ritual" tape we wanted to go further, we wanted to explore the Metal of Death. With this new demo we feel that we have created something really disgusting and fucked up, great shit. We feel just like a new, ugly, rotten band with this tape, and that is exactly what we now have become... INVIDIOUS.“ KATALYSATOR’s 2nd demo "Mass Genocide Ritual“ is sold out now, so let’s hope that INVIDIOUS will release something pretty soon.

Well..Sold out !!! That's fine, very fine. I sent the money to get their demos (first and second) three months ago maybe more, but never get anything after asking many times... Tired of begging !!!!!!!!! Now they changed their myspace, that's fine, i don't forget.............

I recived a copy of the Mass Genocide Ritual demo a few months ago, but the tape had been crushed, and had a letter from the Royal Mail 'Sorry but this item was damaged in the post, and it's contents fell out...'

It could be that there was an angry Swedish postman who got ahold of some of their letters, or just that they're being lazy cunts.....

It's a good demo if you can get ahold of it!

I think I wrote them a letter, but I'm not sure...
At least, I'm certain that I sent them some emails or myspace messages... No answer... Ok... I might not be "True death metal" enough (Too much brutal death?) or something...

I'd like to get ahold of the demos, I'd like... If the guy answered me as well (...) The people don't reply no more ? Why ? Folks logged on every day to see the pictures and useless comments of virtual dikkheads, I cannot understand...What's happening there !!!!!!!!!!!!

I've heard they recieved alot of praise in the Choosing Death book that came out a few years ago (not read it myself, the library doesn't stock it!), so maybe they've been recieving more mail than they can answer...?

Does seem odd that a demo tape can 'sell out'. I thought the point of demo tapes was to keep selling them till you had an album out........

I sent some questions off for them a few months ago, guess I'll have to just keep waiting.

Well, I think their demo was limited to 100 or 200 copies, so obviously it could be sold out fast...

Someone knows the Swedish band MORBID INSULTER? I sent them some emails, a snail mail (and maybe some money for a demo... I'm not sure ahah) and I got no answer either... I read a nice review somewhere, it's a shame they don't answer... But well, they basically seem to be black metallers so this would explain that (maybe?)

Metal of Death Uppsala have decided to start a heavy metal-club in Uppsala called EDEN BELOW.
