New DEICIDE

Has anyone heard the new DEICIDE, "Till Death Do Us Part" ? I have yet to and im curious as to what to expect. I have been reading bad/mixed reviews about it....

I care! I know I know, the last few DEICIDE lps weren't "that" good but hey, they still beat the shit outta most modern day Techincal death metal garbage, ya know?

Well as far as I'm concerned, I like/ liked the 2 first albums, and already began to feel disappointment with "Once upon the cross"... So I don't even listen to the "glorious" following albums...

There's always worst... Pure garbage could sound good compared to very pure garbage...

"Once Upon The Cross" was their last album that really sticks out to me, I didn't mind the later releases, they are better then alot of "modern" day mainstream death metal releases, but I understand what you are saying, there isn't "that" much going on with newer DEICIDE material since 1995 or so ...

Wasn't it a Squiril that was "tresspassing" on his property that he decided to shoot at?

Also, didn't he claim that he ties his wife up to the wall when he goes on tour ?

Yep he shot a squirrel in front of a German reporter who was interviewing him him...the interview was over, Benton was a persona non grata in Germany for awhile afterwards, gig-wise of course. But who cares, as I've stated many times before, he's the epitome of unreliability as far as booking/touring is concerned..Cancelled a few Russian tours citing visa problems when he was just fucked out of his mind.

'Till Death...' is a pretty solid album, but not terribly fast as the sticker advertises.

Does Glen use drugs? Or just drinks alot?

Who knows...maybe he just suffers from tour/performance anxiety. I still would like to check 'em out live one day, for reasons of nostalgia

No particular reason... It's just the "catching someone" way of speaking that sounds a bit funny once (bad) translated in french... Sounds like the verb "to catch", but very first degree

Pretty good album. Sounds very similar to 'The Stench of Redemption'. Definitely worth a listen.
