Hello,
Hope all is well with everyone.
Just a couple of items I'd like to pass along.
1/ The latest Knurl release Triboluminesence is now available from Brise-Cul Records. Contact-http://www.myspace.com/briseculrecords.
2/ Segments of Knurl and Pholde shows are now up on You Tube.

is a portion of my Pholde show at the
2008 Electric Eclectics Festival in Meaford, Ontario
http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8QS-dyTMAI
is Knurl at Sneaky Dee's in Toronto where I thrash a spindle-full of sawblades.
http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=AMvueb2uz9
has short clips of Koji Tano, Gov't Alpha, Six Heads and Knurl from a show at Reverb in
Toronto. Probably from '98 or '99. Gov't Alpha does a brilliant flying kick to his
equipment to end his set. I remember him telling me that he wasn't pleased with his
sound so he just wanted to end it.
3/ The PiNG's NiNTH ANNiVERSARY with mara's torment, PHOLDE,
WHISPER ROOM and GENERAL CHAOS VISUALS
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 20th @ The Central
603 Markham St . 1 block from the Bathurst subway -Toronto
PiNG doors open at 8pm . 1st set is at 8:30 . $6 / PayWhatYouCan
. For the PiNG's NiNTH ANNiVERSARY we're returning to our other
comfy space, The Central which is west and south of the Bathurst
and Bloor Subway station around the corner from Honest Ed's.
Like past anniversary shows, we've invited some good friends
who have played a large part in the PiNG's history to perform.
The sonics will be provided by mara's torment (rik maclean from
ping things), Pholde (Alan Bloor from Knurl) and Whisper Room
(Aidan Baker from Nadja + ARC, Neil Wiernik aka Naw, and
Jakob Thiesen from Students + The Reversibles.) Of course
it wouldn't be an anniversary show without the light painting
of General Chaos Visuals, so Chaos' Stephen Lindsey and
Eric Siegerman will be returning for their sixth PiNG
anniversary show appearance to light up the room.
