I'd like to recommend you a truly cool and promising band from France : HUNGRY JOHNNY.
They play total Thrash Metal influenced by bands from the 80's such as EXODUS, SLAYER, DARK ANGEL, NUCLEAR ASSAULT etc... yet including few modern elements and dealing with a certain sens of humour and second degree in their attitude / lyrics / image (similar to TANKARD when it comes to the fun spirit, to give you an idea).
