Doom over the world

Is there something of a doom revival going on at the moment? Reverend Bizarre getting into the Finnish charts, Southern Lord being all over the trendy record stores, doom gigs selling out (only a few years ago 5 people would have been considered a good turnout!), Pagan Altar getting praise from the 4 corners of the earth....

The Saturnalia Temple demo is worth a look at least.

In France you can feel something is happening with doom, since 2-3 years or more... I can't say if it's trendy, coz I don't pay attention to this... But there surely are more peoples interested.
