| What's your opinion about them? Best album? Worst album? For years I owned a vynil of "Screaming for vengeance" and wasn't too fond of it... Not much to hook me... A few years later I ordered a "Painkiller" CD after hearing the good DEATH cover, this is a good album with great songs... But it's not exactly what I wanted, maybe it was a bit too much "overproduced" and metal metal like some ACCEPT while I wanted something a bit more convenient and "traditional"... Few months ago I got a CD of "British steel" for a cheap price. It has its moments... Some cool atmospheres, quite easy to listen yet quite heavy in parts... Sometimes sounds like "Melissa" of MERCYFUL FATE... Some songs sound quite like some radio rock hymns but seems okey in the style... Sometimes a little too simple or convenient but that's ok, I like to rest So your thoughts? What's the best of the best album everyone should hear and know? | |

Well you don't like 80's heavy metal, so... Motley Crue has some good songs

I notice it's one of the rare topics that began like an effort to talk on this forum, and exchange opinions a right way, as opposed to what was posted the last months... And it rapidly turned to: Hu he's gay, huh this band sucks cheer cocks... Maybe I should censor this board a bit, and so those who don't like queer heavy metal won't be able to post on queer heavy metal topics and pollute a topice that might have turned cool at the end, and those who like to strawberrymilk their ass will be able to do so in all queer tranquility.

| I'm into Motley Crue since their Dr. Feelgood era. Unfortunally I have never seen em live tho.
I read their entire book, quite the read, quite the story, amazing that all of the members are still even alive considering all the toxic behavior they partake in.
Something about Judas Priest just bores me, nmot sure what it is, I've heard all their albums.
i do like Halfords FIGHT band tho, catchy riffs!

| not a huge fan of heavy metal in general, but judas priest is prolly my favourite from that genre. i find them really solid, and while i dont own/heard an entire album by them, i almost always get into them when i hear them.
i have an LP with a crust cover of breaking the law (by sawn off), and damn its great. and every time now i hear most of their stuff (at least their catchier stuff), i cant help but imagine it played sloppier, faster, and more abrasive (in my books, better)... so now i enjoy them more than i ever did.

| I haven't heard much of their discography... I like Painkiller. Rocka Rolla and Jugulator are ok. The recent stuff sounds quite decent too. The 80s stuff seems more dated than the rest. | |

(though I suppose you'd be more into the stained ass...) I didn't hear "Stained class". "Point of entry" doesn't seem to be too much for me. "Defenders Of The Faith" is like, well... Maybe I'll like it later "Ram it down" has good moments
