| Ah, merci
Its difficult to get ahold of fanzines from the mid nineties (at least interesting ones...), and I've always wondered about how they would look, what kinds of questions they would ask then etc. What kind of time frame should downloadable zines be limited to? Just ones that are out of print? I suppose there aren't any editors that manage to make money with their zines, so I guess they wouldn't mind them being posted online.

You don't have much fanzines from the mid 90's? Well, I still have a lot of ones from the 96-99 epoch, so I might upload a couple more later... (But it takes time) It's better to upload only zines that are out of print... Those still available, should be bought or traded... _______________________ Cadaveric ringtones for free, just click: http://nihilistic-webzine-distro.fr

| English zines at the end of the 90's were non existant or very bad (very little about actual metal, more 'punk ideology' themed, articles on marxism.). The only name that comes to mind is Kentuky Fried Afterbirth, which was 'ok'. Most of the zines that focused on underground metal were from mainland Europe, I didn't find out about these until being a bit older, after 2000 at least.
Its also good to read old zines from a historical perspective. For example, to see all these individuals who 10 years ago were promoting Black Metal as the be-all-end-all of music, yet now they're all in Death Metal bands... (or 'neo folk' hohoho... Or taking themes from The Cure / The Smiths / Joy Division etc...) The ability to re-write history for their own purposes.
If anyone on here wants to trade scans / photocopies of zines, get in touch.

I have quite a lot of old zines, rearranged everything by alphabetical order so I can find what I want, so it wouldn't be too hard for me _______________________ Cadaveric ringtones for free, just click: http://nihilistic-webzine-distro.fr

The Christmas period usually gives plenty of time for doing meaningless tasks such as these .

| [quote="christkum"] The name seems familar, though I doubt I've read any. How does it fare to other zines? [quote] It had underground music and stupid jokes with drawings... I kinda like it then - christkum wrote:

I have done a list with most of what I have, only 1/4 of the A4 zines lack... _______________________ Cadaveric ringtones for free, just click: http://nihilistic-webzine-distro.fr
