Cdrs or Tapes?

What do you guys perfer? Cdr or cassette format?

personally I perfer cassettes as they seem to be more durable and last much longer.

But at the same time, Cdrs are a great way to trade music in the mail due to the ever increasing postage increases, and its always nice with cassette demos are burned onto cdr so you can make your own cassette copies by yourself.

cdr are cheaper.

but if they are badly burnt or burn on "bad" equipment they will die after some months.

Tapes are more expensive and if you buy bad tapes they will also suck quite fast. But they have more "charm" than CDr. And globally they have a longer lifetime if you take care of them.

CDr are very useful to send master or promo records, it is much more cheape than tapes, and for this utilisation you don't need to send tapes.

i prefer tapes, but cdrs do have their advantages.

Vinyl > CD > Tape

But I'll take whatever has the music I want to hear.

I prefer cds because I wear out tapes fast.
