Here's the first review of GUTTURALIA XXX,
published on NECROSLAUGHTER webzine (Germany):

Oh Gabriel, was tust Du nur? An dieser Stelle ist es gut, dass Du für gewisse Experimente ein Sublabel eröffnet hast. Wäre “Tilt!” auf Nihilistic Holocaust veröffentlicht worden, hätte das wohl sämtliche Stammkäufer verschreckt. Dagegen war die Powerviolence-Geschichte von Gripe fast noch kompatibel.

Doch GUTTURALIA XXX? Ei, das ist harter Toback. Es wird beworben als “Electro Grind / Brutal Death”. Wer jetzt an Nunwhore Commando 666 oder The Berzerker denkt, hat definitiv noch nicht genug Meth geraucht! “Tilt!” klingt wie Igorrr auf Koks im Proberaum von The Berzerker auf Schore. Es ist ein böser Drogentrip fernab von allen ersichtlichen Konzepten der Musik.

Gitarren braucht GUTTURALIA XXX nicht. Gesang ebenso wenig. Es reichen Störgeräusche, die springende CD “Die schönsten Blastbeats, gespielt auf meinen E-Drums”, ein übersteuerter Drumcomputer und vielleicht noch ein synthetisches Klavier. Für die wenigen Melodien auf “Tilt!“. Doch eigentlich entbehren sich die 12 Songs in knapp sieben Minuten jedweder Melodie oder gar rhythmischer Struktur. Häufiger hört es sich nach wahnsinnigem Lärm an, wie ein unstrukturierter Presslufthammer auf einer Computer-Platine.

Soweit stimmt aber die Beschreibung des Demos: “This french project will mangle your brain and revive old dead brain cells!” – Zumindest der erste Teil. Ich muss nun erstmal mein Gehirn wieder entknoten und mit Brodequin und Last Days Of Humanity meinen Gehörgang wieder eichen. Wer neugierig ist, oder einfach keinen Kassettenspieler hat, bekommt von Visceral Circuitry einen kostenlosen Download des Demos geschenkt. Wer zu diesen digitalen Klängen ein analoges Medium haben will, bekommt für das Tape für einen Euro im Label-Shop. Und wer beides nicht will, kann auf Soundcloud auch einfach drei Songs anhören.
