Distro/ Label: Slow and low…

I have to say the sales of tapes and CDs have been very slow the last month, it wasn’t so low since perhaps 2020 or 2019…
I made the effort to buy wholesale CDs and tapes of good underground labels recently, to have more stock and answer peoples’ request for this kind of releases, all the more sold for a very decent price… To my surprise some of it is just stagnating here…
I know it’s hard times, crisis, inflation and prices keep on increasing… There’s also a better weather coming and peoples are more interested in gigs/ festivals than anything else… That’s why I remain patient and quite “philosopher”…
But at the same time I was surprised to see so many peoples ordered the new release of the famous “M” band… I understand some guys are fans, and like to complete their collection… But this band didn’t release something Essential since a so long time, as good as they were 30-35 years ago, that it awakes strange feelings and interrogations inside…
Keep in mind that without orders or financial support, even small, there’s no labels, no releases, no distros…
Just “free” digital music, youtube links, and facebook clicks…
