SKITZO!

Is anyone into these metal legends from Bay Area, California?

Formed in 1980 under the name VENOM....oops as a kid went shopping at a new Imports Record store we noticed VENOM from the UK, so we changed it to SKITZO and with that change also came 23 years later, 68 band memebers, 17 albums, several appearences on Jerry Springer, Howard Stern, Talk Soup, MTV, Ripley's, CNN, the most recent film you can see SKITZO in action is National Lampoon's "LOST REALITY" Money segment starring the Barf Boy Lance Ozanix the founder of SKITZO. Well its now 2005 and people who hate us can't believe were still here, neither can we, and to stick another fork in their eye.....SKITZO is currently recording their 17th CD titled "HEAVY SHIT". Done several tours, 4000 shows. Bands we have toured & shared the stage with... The Mentors, Malevolent Creation, Acid Bath, D.R.I., Forbidden, FNM, Angel Witch, Exodus & Paul Baloff -Paranah, Spaztic Children (Metallica) The Vandles, Agnostic Front, bands like Vast & Tool opened for Skitzo back in the early 90s...now they are bigger than the devil! we accidently opened for Faster Pussycat & pissed of the singer when we puked on stage. We played for Sam Kinision's wake the day after he died, and when Sam was alive Lance filled in for Sam & sang Wild Thing with his all star back up band 1991, Fates Warning, Sanctuary (Nevermore) OZZY's axeman Jake E Lee, Mandy Loin, Death Angel, Possessed, Blind Illusion, Vio-Lence, Machine Head, Buzz Oven, Green Day, White/Rob Zombie, & If you see Peter Steele from Type O, tell him we are wating to hear from him re: have SKITZO Puke for their DVD.

Well, that's sounds cool, but not really into their stuffs... There are some quite strange sounding riffs...

Which albums did you hear?

There is like 22 Skitzo albums all ranging in styles.

Some are more punk/thrash, some are crossover sounding like D.R.I., and some are more weird thrash metal.

The newest SKITZO-heavy shit is the best one to date. It's really fucking good thrash metal!

I heard heavy shit... some stuffs are too simple for me, not enough surprises...

Not any, I think I only read 1 or 2 interviews with them in the past.
