PILEDRIVER Schedule Toronto Date; New Demos Online



Canadian metal legends PILEDRIVER have contacted BW&BK with news that the band have scheduled a date in Toronto (Ontario) on Saturday, April 29th at The Marquee (280 Coxwell Ave.).

As previously reported, Piledriver continue work on the long-awaited followup to 1986's Stay Ugly, entitled Metal Manifesto. Leader Pile told BW&BK late last year, "My throat hasn't been this strong in 15 years, and I can't wait to drop jaws across the planet! This will indeed be the year of the Pile."

Well, after numerous set backs and trials, The Exalted Piledriver has finally released its long awaited and much anticipated 3rd album, titled METAL MANIFESTO. It has been getting radio play across Canada on underground radio, is making great in roads to Europe, and is garnering rave reviews from all!

Our second European tour is in the works for the summer of 2009, to be followed up by a tour of Canada (before the snow flies again) and a secret tour of America with a secret band will take place before the year is out, if not sooner.

In 1998 I received a promo with both first albums, it had some cool songs... With a nice hellish speed metal vibe... I'm afraid they can't recreate that...
