| So,alot of good bands came out in the 1980's and these bands are considered to be "Bay Area Thrash Metal Bands".
Some of them always remained in the underground for the most part, like SKITZO and HIRAX, but alot of them had world wide sucess like METALLICA or MEGADETH.
Which of these bands is your favourite Bay Area Thrash Metal Band? _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. Canadian Extreme Metal & Experimental Noize Distribution: http://skullfuckingmetal.blogspot.com

| Metallica never was a thrash band to me. Slayer are from L.A. which is not part of the Bay Area is it?
the band who best incarnates this scene was and remains Exodus. these guys had the fucking attitude |

| Bonded By Blood is really great. but Seven Churches is godly. Exodus and Venom were Possessed's biggest influences in their own terms, it's probably true. the pupill surpassing the master. brilliant _______________________ si tu te réveilles un matin sans avoir mal nulle part, c'est que tu es mort. My only complaint about POSSESSED is that they weren't around long enough to leave is a shit load of killer lp's. But, I guess this is another reason why they kick soo much ass, as every single song Possessed recorded absolutley kills! Bonded By Blood is a fuckin amazing Exodus lp! _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. Canadian Extreme Metal & Experimental Noize Distribution: http://skullfuckingmetal.blogspot.com

| fukk yes. they at least never disappointed and their legend is only just bigger thanks to it. Metallica could have ended like that. can't believe it's 20 years Cliff's gone btw. I have live bootlegs of the Ride the lightning and Master of puppets tours and it's absolutely awesome, maybe the most intense live stuff I've ever heard. their success/decay just buried the legend and it's long forgotten now, buried under years of lameness. what a waste. not like Possessed. they were ultimate and will remain. _______________________ si tu te réveilles un matin sans avoir mal nulle part, c'est que tu es mort. I've never really heard too much Sadus or Forbidden to make a honest opinion about them yet, as for Testament thou, they are fucking killer! _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. Canadian Extreme Metal & Experimental Noize Distribution: http://skullfuckingmetal.blogspot.com

Cliff was the man! I have a Cliff memorial tattoo, the same Misfits skull on my arm, the same place where he had his done. _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. I don't really see how FORBIDDEN could be over-rated, while many peoples forgot them... They split up about 10 years ago I think... I never found SADUS to be so popular in the scene, you might have this feeling now, since Steve Di Giorgio became famous... TESTAMENT are probably quite popular in the scene because they are still doing albums and tours since the 80s... It helps to grow bigger

In my opinion Death Angel IS kind of over-ratted... I know several albums that are cool or good, but nothing to turn the whole world inside out... Speaking about angels, I really prefer the dark one: DARK ANGEL!! DARK ANGEL is fucking amazing, but DEATH ANGEL isn't that far behind! _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. | It seems Rob Flynn didn't record any FORBIDDEN album... Just had a look at BNR Metal... Metal archives says he was a part of the band from 1985 to 1987, so it was demos days... Tiiigiii will be able to listen to FORBIDDEN again, pfiew!
