| Metallica, with Slayer coming in a close second. Although I agree that Metallica sucks balls now, and has for nearly 15 years, thay also made up for 15 years of sucking with their 1'st 4 albums Slayer are probably more influential overall than Megadeth is/was, and they put out the likes of Reign in Blood, Show no Mercy and Seasons in the Abyss. Megadeth only has 2 or 3 albums I can stand, although they kick ass live. Anthrax, well they don't even come close |

How was Nevermore live? Nevermore is fucking awesome live, bro. That's the second time I seen them, the first was with Dimmu borgir back in 2003, and they were great both times :hailz: |

| Slayer and Anthrax old stuff rules!!!! (i stopped following them after South Of Heaven and State Of Euphoria, althought i went to see Slayer live on their Seasons In The Abyss tour) But still play their old records often. Metallica turned gay after Master Of Puppets (and personaly i think Ride The Lightning is their best!) Megadeth, i only know their first 2 albums but Dave Mustane was such a dick so never was a big fan of them. | |

| In 2012 the first I would listen is old Megadeth, then a bit of old Slayer.
Didn't listen to Anthrax since a long time, and I stopped listening to Metallica when they closed my Napster account. _______________________ Cadaveric ringtones for free, just click: http://nihilistic-webzine-distro.fr

| Update
I've seen these bands (save Metallica) live in the last couple of years, and I have to say that Anthrax are by far the best. They put on a hell of an energetic show for guys their age. Slayer, by comparison, look just tired and worn out. Megadeth... Mustaine completely lost it mentally (he should get Ted Nugent in his band) and Ellefsson is a priest. I mean, how can you seriously be a priest and play in a band called Megadeth?! Call it Megachrist or just quit and stop tarnishing your legacy for fuck's sake.
Metallica... I won't say they suck, I mean how credible can you be playing angry fast music when you're like the richest band on the planet? They're just boring. They should have stopped after Newsted left. And the fact that every metal guitarist is trying to have Hetfield's razor sharp guitar tone from AJFA kind of ruins it for me. It's boring. Blame it on EMG and LTD!
Long story short... none of these guys are sincere anymore, thrash metal should be played by teenagers only, it just doesn't suit rich older guys. When the anger and youthful energy is gone, there's nothing left but guitar wankery or trend chasing. _______________________ si tu te réveilles un matin sans avoir mal nulle part, c'est que tu es mort.
