You would hopefully find that the music is NOT run of the mill and agree there is some sort of pioneering going on. Atleast that is what would like to beleive...
Don't get me wrong..I am definitely not saying we are better than anyone. but after 14 years of being in the death metal Genre and 18 years of playing guitar and atleast that many in the extreme metal genres (as well as other genres) I would hope to find a love and passion for music that is diverse and fresh and I think we are onto something..Take a listen for your self... the new album is a cross between Black/Death with stops in progressive Metal. I hope you enjoy. We are already two songs into the next album and it is proving to be a huge step forward. If you are pissed about the pionering statement I am sorry... but I just callit the way i see it without being self deluded about it.

Then I guess you haven't met that many bands... Many bands do not need to claim they're the new originators and pioneers of a new style, at least in the advertisements! Most of the time, LABELS are the ones to say this or that band is sooo wonderful, because they need to SELL!

That may be...but we don't have a label or an advertising team... we did not ORIGINATE anything..we are hoping to add to or make better , IE, Pioneer a new sound. it is a struggle to survive bro that is all. There are only 4-5 friends chating, without that much importance... Mostly jokes...

I listened to your music, anyway, it sounds between the cool/ okey/ not bad, but nothing I'd play again... In my hears, it's some kind of cool mixture of various influences, but nothing UNIQUE. I already have a shitload of death metal and extreme metal bands of this kind, including some who really were pioneers etc...

I have a problem with the bands/ individuals who are too full of themselves, and your first message that contained two proofs of big-head wasn't exactly a real pleasure. :sarcastic:

*Sigh* I thank you for listening I feel better now...I take comments about the music alot better than personal attacks on the choice of words I use. we are very excited at the direction we are going... you may not hear originality in the old stuff now..(keep in mind it was written in 1992-1996) back then it was unique.. but the new stuff(The Soldier, and Mirror) is very dynamic...if we hadn't dispanded for school for 6 years we would be farther...now we are forced to make something happen...you ask anyone and they will say we are VERY HUMBLE we take what we do seriousely...but at the same time realize there are plenty of really GREAT bands out there... but when announcing a new album you want it to sound exciting or interesting...using the pioneer word means an attempt to make better something that already existed that is what we are going for...and I am talking run of the mill stuff here. we mix alot of different styles...and try to make it refreshing...but never the less. we DO NOT have big heads...AT ALL...I was merely trying to announce an album.. the thing that got me serious sounding was seeing the ADMIN bashing me for a post..because I used the word Pioneer.. but alas...it is like beating a dead horse. consider your point taken...
