Almost a decade in the making, BLOOD RITUAL’s highly anticipated “Black Grimoire” was unleashed April 26th to nearly unanimously positive acclaim, finding features in such magazines as “Terrorizer,” “Metal Maniacs,” “Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles,” “AMP,” “Explicitly Intense,” “Caustic Truths,” and many, many others. This Satanic death metal masterpiece was recorded entirely by mainman Tim Bishop himself at the Autopsy Room (3 Inches of Blood, DRAWN AND QUARTERED, INFERNAL LEGION) and mastered at Nettleingham Audio (Engorged, Lord Gore, SARGEIST, LEVIATHAN, XASTHUR, INFERNAL LEGION). Bishop reports that he’s currently in the process of recruiting suitable musicians for Blood Ritual to begin playing live again, and has entertained the possibility of using fellow CULT brothers WINTER OF APOKALYPSE for those live assaults.
