FORBIDDEN-"FORBIDDEN EVIL" FORGOTTEN BAY AREA THRA

First known as Forbidden Evil, and once featuring Machine Head guitarist Robb Flynn in its ranks, Forbidden was ohe of the prototypical 80's San Francisco thrash bands, with their first two albums being amongst the best in the genre. For some reason they faltered after those first two albums, with label issues being part of the problem, as both Distortion and Green seemed to be poorly promoted and hard to find at the time. Eventually they broke up, with everyone in the group at the time moving on to other bands (Tim Calvert to Nevermore, Russ Anderson to Parking Lot Prophets, and the others forming Manmade God).

This is a asskicking BAY AREA THRASH METAL MASTERPIECE from 1988. Released on Combat Records. The riffing kills, fucking rules! Vokills are awesome too and lots of guitair squeelies.

Just seems to me that FORBIDDEN is kinda a forgotten band these days in the thrash retro comeback lol. Kids these days love their thrash but no one ever blabs about FORBIDDEN for some reason.
