Reunited ASPHYX, DEICIDE Confirmed For Germany's PARTY.SAN OPEN AIR Festival

The reformed lineup of the Dutch death metal outfit ASPHYX — Martin van Drunen (vocals), Wannes Gubbels (bass/vocals), Paul Baayens (guitar) and Bob Bagchus (drums) — and DEICIDE have been confirmed for have been confirmed for this year's edition of the Party.San Open Air festival, set to take place August 9-11, 2007 in Bad Berka, Germany. The festival billing is shaping up as follows (in alphabetical order):

NIICE! ASPYHX is killer and I never heard they are back together untill now, almost too good to be true :heinnn:

+ asphyx was OK then but i listened to the rack rece,tly and it has become "outdated"

Would be cool to see Asphyx live...

They're playing in London at the end of the month (23rd? Somewhere around then) with Unpure and Razor of Occam, might be playing at some Frenchie dates as well. Can't remember whose organising the tour either way.....

Though apparently they were the best band at Party San. Wouldn't have minded seeing Merciless myself.....

Well, in my opinion Van Drunnen has done more intense things, he has gone much higher on the levels of insanity and pure death, so his "fall" could be stronger...

I just saw Iggy Pop and I bet he's had a waaaay crazier life Van Drunnen ever has, plus for much longer. and he still looks like in his twenties, he didn't get obese, dumb down or bald!

FUCKING KILLED. (they must have palyed 90% of The Rack, even managed a couple from Crush the Cenotaph.... Krusher and Rite of Shades I think. With plenty more from Last one and the one from 2000.)

Martin has a Dutchie Brummie accent
