Butchered Records and 9th Plague are proud to announce that they have come to an agreement for the release of ”Apocatastasis Reversed”, the first album of Swedish satanic death metal band 9th Plague. ”After I recieved their demo, ”Triumph of Diabolism” (August 2006), I knew this was a band I wanted to work with.”, says Patrick Pagan, label manager of Butchered Records. ”It was important for us to be on a label that really appreciate and support bands with our kind of lyrical and musical approach, and judging by the roster of Butchered Records, they are such a label”, the band continues.
”Apocatastasis Reversed” will feature brand new tracks as well as re-recordings of some songs from both ”Triumph of Diabolism” and the second demo, ”Age of Satanic enlightenment” (2004). This blasphemous release, with one of the sickest covers done by the mighty Jon Zig, will darken the light of day by summer 2007.
