Police shoulnd't be an issue. A noise complaint can be issued in a residential area at any time (even before noise bylaw) so the police must naturally come and check out the nature of the complaint, and give a warning. However, these private house concerts happen all the time over Ontario, and I have never once heard about police shutting them down.

BAck when I lived in Belleville, I ran a punk rock squat on Dunbar and the door literally read "666" from the outside...Mega parties, we jammed there almost everyday or everyday, same as ZAMN with us (NFA) cops came almost EVERY night, same as when I lived at Saulter street and threw massive parties in my living room.

I have a plan for friday to make sure things go well
