AUTOPSY to record new songs

For the first time in nearly 15 years, 2 vile new Autopsy tracks were recorded in September 2008, bringing together Chris Reifert, Danny Coralles, and Eric Cutler for another slice of death & decay.

These tracks make up a special, extremely limited (only 1,000) 7” vinyl release, titled ‘Horrific Obsession’, to be available exclusively from www.peaceville.com on 26th January 2009, with pre-orders being taken from December.

To celebrate 20 years of ‘Severed Survival’, Autopsy’s iconic debut album will be re-issued by Peaceville Records as a special 2 disc edition on February 23rd 2009.

Everyone’s favourite San Franciscan sickos - an inspiration to an entire generation of death metal bands - have unearthed rare rehearsal & live material for a bonus disc, including demo versions of 2 songs "Mauled to Death" and "Human Genocide", which were intended for the original ‘Severed Survival’. Also featured in the package is a booklet with notes by the band themselves, detailing the history of Autopsy’s early years, with rare photos and images.

Is this going to be a re-union or just a one off recording?
I've already got the Severed Survival CD (wasn't it only re-issued a couple of years ago?), so will have to try and get the 7".
Presumably Abscess isn't selling that well

I'm surprised by the fact he answers interview for AUTOPSY again (At least it's what I got...)... Maybe I should send my old 5 years old questions one more time...

Bah non, j'ai déjà envoyé le paquet plusieurs fois, il a même pas daigné répondre à mes lettres/ emails... Pas envie de re-passer du temps pour rien... J'ai peut être pas été assez gentils avec ABSCESS (Genre, "ton nouveau groupe"), laissé sous entendre que tous les albums d'AUTOPSY étaient pas aussi bons que "Severed survival" ou j'ai osé dire que je ne connaissais pas DR SHRINKER (A l'époque c'était vrai... Le CD de NECROHARMONIC existait pas... Mes questions faisaient peut être pas assez "vieille momie du death complétement nécrosée")... Mais bon, AUTOPSY ça me semblait quand même être assez FUCK OFF et déglingué dans l'esprit, donc un peu deçu quelque part s'il a pas pris ça bien...

J'ai pas lu l'interview d'Adam, mais le connaissant ça devait surement être du worship Death de A à Z, donc il a du se sentir très flatté le père Reifert... Plus facile d'avoir des réponses dans ce sens

Oui l'interview dans Necroscope est assez cool mais rien de transcendant non plus ou de putridement excitant.
Mais bon maintenant je peux crever tranquille puisque Deep Vein se retrouve interviewé dans le même zine que AUTOPSY!!

Pour ce qui est des interviews en général, pfff, je me fais plus trop chier, les groupes n'ont pas grand-chose à dire ou alors difficile de trouver des types (genre Berthon) qui hésitent pas à rentrer dans le lard et à rendre les inties croustillantes...

Pour qu'ils mettent le paquet, faudrait que ton zine soit une "valeur sure", avec 10000 lecteurs minimum... Sinon, pourquoi ils s'embetteraient? Il y a des plaisirs immédiats bien plus attractifs, sur le moment...

10000? p't'être dans une vingtaine année quand PEZ sera en papier glacé avec un CD sampler avec que des groupes pourraves. Ou alors une version myspace? :ator:
