APOSTASY Guitarist Killed By Girlfriend

According to UPI, the girlfriend of Swedish black metal band APOSTASY's guitarist, Henrik Johansson, says she killed him in self-defense. Johansson, 28, was stabbed to death Thursday by his unidentified 19-year-old girlfriend at the couple's apartment in Kramfors, Sweden, Expressen reported Friday. The young woman told police she grabbed a knife from the kitchen because she was afraid of Johansson and when he tried to disarm her, "he ran straight towards the knife," which pierced his heart, the newspaper said. The girlfriend was arrested on a charge of manslaughter. A neighbor said she called police to quell a loud argument between the couple in January. Both of them had cuts when police arrived and the teenager filed charges against Johansson, which were eventually dropped.
