ahhh ok! Over here in Canada, not too many people are into Machine Head. Some were when "Burn My Eyes" came out, but after that album they kind of drifted off.

Machine Head are "huge" enough in France for a metal act. and yes Robb Flynn is an asshole. as for Burn My Eyes, it had its moments, but overall it's mostly watered down pseudo "thrash" metal

I'd consider Machine Head a "nu-metal" band pretty much. I don't mind them thou.

Yes, at the beginning (first album) I considered that as "Metalcore/ thrash metal", now it would rather sound like "metalcore/ nu metal" or something...

Maybe for the interludes between each songs... but that wasn't obvious...

I'd say they turned their more dissonant riffs to stupid repetitive gimmicks the whole nu scene is based on

DARK ANGEL is fucking amazing, but DEATH ANGEL isn't that far behind!

The Ultra Violence was pretty good, when they were all 14, but their later albums went a bit naff.
