scribbler is a local no wave/noise band, kinda known locally (toured, released on vinyl) and both times we got mentioned in the local newspaper, it was in the same sentence as them.

During a couple of months, "Glaukom synod" was often mentioned with "random noise" of some sort... I don't know if it's good, but it's clearly not accurate...

Being "old school", "putrid" and "only into feeling and not technic" is often an excuse for not knowing how to play. And to do randow boring "death" metal.

It might even be worse for Hellhammer or Von (?) worshipping bands...

Absolutely.

I would add about these bands, and EVEN if I like some of them, that "worshipping the real black metal cult" is often an excuse for lack of imagination and even RIP OFF of songs and riffs (and promo pics haha).

the local hockey team is called and sponsored my Moosehead,. for me its weird, seing Moosehead advertised so heavily in the city, eventhough theres a bunch of local (not new brunswick) breweries, including Keith's. but hey i dont care, they make good beer (not as good as keiths though hahaha).

When you know them, and they didn't give a fuck about Death metal 3 years ago...

When these people are 15 years old it's understandable that they didn't pay interest in death metal three years ago, he he.

Basically what annoys me is people who play in a band, and spend more time explaining that death metal should be like that and that (following the current trend, currently the "swedish" or "old school" stuff I suppose), instead of improving their skills with their instrument and (more important even I guess) their songwriting...
