MERCYLESS - French death metal: New album

So I listened to 2 tracks of the new MERCYLESS (Fra) album. Your thoughts?

When I read it was mastered by Dawn Swano, I was really afraid of a cripsy sound, it would suck and be misplaced (As it already occured with Swano)... Hopefully it isn't... Now in these two tracks, I wasn't blow away. Some riffs have a nice little atmosphere, but some riffs are too standard death metal. I liked some little sorrowfull touches as they used to play in the past but it could be MORE OF THIS. I disliked some blastbeats reminding of old Cannibal corpse (Or something)... At first shot my impressions are neither great neither ugly...
