| no, they are quite easily understandable when they speak normally, but they have many funny words/sayings translated litterally from english to french, like car=char, lighter=litaire, etc...they also tend to roll their R's like our old peasants in the deep country. Céline Dion is the most known Canadian here. every humorist mocks her. it's hilarious :lol!: _______________________ si tu te réveilles un matin sans avoir mal nulle part, c'est que tu es mort. If you find it hard to find tapes, look in skips outside hi-fi stores for them. Its skummy, but I got about 100 in one. And a pack of butter. Hi, What is a "Skip" exactly? And was is to be skummy?
I don't speak english everydays, and a good tape-tip is always welcome Skip = bin not the crisps. but I guess you don't have them. Or call them crisps either.

I'd like to find some all-black tapes such as the ones you sent me, Callum, but that's already cool to find good quality tapes for an ok price...

The ones he sent me seemed to be 'naturally' black, but give me your tip! Ok its easy, I learned how to make tapes black from Johnny of MANIAC. What you do is get a bunch of tapes from a market or thrift store, or even from someones garbage lol. Take a scrub pad that you would use for doing dishes, and apply some "rubbing alcohol" and rub the "lettering" off the cassette tape. Normally, the printing on the tape will rub off without a problem, and now you have a plain black tape that is ready to be recorded over. _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. | hmmm, ok thanx for the tip.
But that only erases the writings, it doesn't make the tape really black, right?
The ones Callum sent me are totally black, no light could come and go through the plastic

If some slight scratches appear, just use a black marker to cover them up. _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. Really? Why do you think that cdrs sound better my friend? the quality of sound is better because it's digital, you see what I try to say ? too be honest, I guess it depends. For certain black metal recordings sound proper on cassette, and on cdr they sound too polished or want to be "raw". I guess it depends on the style of music and attitude of the band. Most old death metal sounds better on tape imo. Sounds rawer, primitive, more vicious, warm etc _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. Ah yes I didn't think to this. I think you're right when you say it depends of the style. But some black metal bands plays too raw music so I think a tape doesn't help us. Finally it depends of a lot of thing... Stuff like modern death metal sounds just as good on cdr imo. But the older stuff, old demos etc sound better on tape I think. Some black metal is too raw even for cdrs to make it sound not like garbage! DEATH TO MSBM! :sarcastic: _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL.
