| Maybe I'm too drunk so this will makle no sense.....
Firstly, why do people complain about lyrics not being in english????? Im listen to shit like Parabellum, Metalucifer, Debustrol etctetctec, and its fucking brilliant! but twats moan its not in english?!?!!? And they arent even english themselveS!!!
Also, I love to read stuff like Vulcano and sodom early stuff when they spewed out ugly english. eg
I turn the cross upside down and read Satanic Bible with fucking grown my life begins at midnight twelve masturbate to kill myself
or
I hear gallops n gallps and phantoms Even if I wasnt there (?!?!) Maybe id run to the other house the but fire was turned off (FUCKING BRILLIANT!!!!)
maybe all you french speakers can't apreciate this, but imagine being really fucking drunk (eheh!) and having to sing some poofter crap about trees and cunts. BOLLOCKS! But with Sodom, these words come naturally! ATTACK WITH SPELL!
for all you frenchie speakers, try this. I converted Sextrash using the computer. I have no idea how bad it is, but I know the translations are awful. Now sing this as loud as possible! But with drink!
Les dévergondées, Où vous êtes ? ! ! Nous voulons votre minet ! !
Cochon du soir Nous sommes le cochon du cochon du soir du soir
Finally, whould anyone prefer to do lyrics in a foreign language? German would sound shit maybe, but still.... Maybe sounds daft, but there are latin in songs. And I get tired of only the english! I'm sure people find it offensive if I abuse their language! eheheh! and dog too!

| Ah Ah, this translation sounds like shit, as if some odl farmers decided to create a drunk rock band The language of the lyrics doesn't matter to me, it's good to have some in the mother language of the bands because it brings some touch of exotism and originality... Yes, many bands from every countries sing in their own language, and that sounds good for some! But that's not a generality, english is the most used tongue in metawwwl Now, it's true everybody do not like metal to be sung in French. Donnes moi de la bière, saligaud!! Des grosses bières, on a soif! Does it sound cool with the translator? | |

| french lyrics can sound great when it's done well, but it's not common. most of the time it's wannabe C. Baudelaire wankery like Misanthrope or "elitist" black metal...even french hip hop sounds better than this kind of shit... in general I prefer a band who sings meaningful stuff in its mother tongue rather than retarded lyrics in awful english only to sound "cool". but like Christkum says it can be cool sometimes... no I think it's more a fan's attempt to emulate the original "godz", but most of the time people sing in english unconsciously and it's easier to sound cool, because you're less aware of singing stupid stuff when it's translated to another language, there must be a psychologic/medical explanation to it but I think it's not conscious _______________________ si tu te réveilles un matin sans avoir mal nulle part, c'est que tu es mort. Great translation. Eg. VODKA JELLY! - Quote :

Des grosses bières, on a soif! No beer for you! Only strawberry is real! I really want to do a song in French now...... Maybe if I send some lyrics someone could translate them for me? I like the ugly translations, but mine just end up as 'I am dog. Where is pussycat? It is pigg in the night the night.....' And does anyone know some of the Abominator lyrics? I seem to remember reading somewhere that that liked the Sodomish style lyrics and had tried to recreate that style. Or maybe they were too much on acid, and in too much sun and BBQ. Or maybe I drink to much, and am thinking of a different band....?
