| Any other fans of HORROR MOVIES here?
I'm watching "Hellmaster" right now, kinda a rip-off of HELLRAISER. Creepy but not excatley original.
I'm mainly into 80's hack and slash cheeze fests like FRIDAY THE 13th, NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, THE DENTIST, THE ICE CREAM MAN, EVIL DEAD, CHILDS PLAY,MANIAC, MANIAC COP, STEPFATHER, FAMILY MAN, etc etc
Also, I like alot of old Italian horror movies by Bava, Fulci, Argento, Lenzi etc GATES OF HELL, DEMONS, TENEBRE, SHOCK, LET SLEEPING CORPSES LIE, etc etc _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. The Italian movies always were the best. I'd go for either Susperia or From Beyond (not the Masacre album!!!!) + do you like the Mondo films as well? Africa Addio is worth a look (Africa! Blood and guts! was the US title.... doesn't really do the film justice....)

| Old Cannibal films, ya man....some are allright, Jungle Holocaust, Cannibal Ferox, to name a couple....I wasnt really into Cannibal Holocaust as theres too much god damn non-human animal gore in it!!!! Speaking of Cannibal Holocaust, I have a copy on dvd for sale. _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. OK, DEFINITELY DO NOT WATCH AFRICA ADDIO THEN! It's what Cannibal Holocaust was based on (the director saw Africa Addio, then came up with Cannibal Holocaust as a response to all the mindless killing going on in the African savana.), that just has a turtle and a musk rat and the odd monkey getting killed, in Africa Addio, they shoot about 50 elephants, drive with ropes attached to their truck to break legs of a herd of zebra, shoot around 1000 hippos, not to mention a few thousand buffalo/antelope getting speared.... Not one for the animal lover https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C109A1Z8p-k | |

| In terms of movies I mostly only watch horror movies: Ginger Snaps, Childs Play, Night Watch, augh too many to name and not too many that I remember at the moment. Psychological thrillers are also great. | |

| I thought Faces of Death was all fake with maybe one or two exceptions. I, too, hated animal cruelty in both Cannibal Holocaust and Man from Deep River.
I'm into giallo big time.
Watched TORSO lat night, before that-Seven Notes of Black by Fulci, STRIP NUDE FOR YOUR KILLER, BURIAL GROUND, MALABIMBA (the xxx-rated version), SATANICO PANDEMONIUM, HOUSE WITH LAUGHING WINDOWS, etc. All Italian, all fucked up.

| Whats "Shrooms" like man? I just watched the new Halloween by Rob Zombie for the 3rd time and I still can't really grasp a opinion on it really. I find it was made too "dark" and the murder scenes could of been much better as its a Zombie film. I watched TAXI DRIVER last night, not a horror movie, of course, but damn fuckin classic! _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. I watched TAXI DRIVER last night, not a horror movie, of course, but damn fuckin classic! Shrooms is modern horror with a twist...It has a few tense moments but there's too many holes in the plot. They chose a grim setting though, the woods of Ireland, and it worked to a certain extent. The movie is so-so. Taxi Driver...Yeah, haha, Travis Bickle is my kinda character As for Zombie's Halloween, I didn't like it. The second half is too dark like you said, and it very much resembles a 90s teen slasher. | |

I'm assuming that the second half and the murder scenes were so dark because of limited amount of funds left? Just a assumption but it makes sense, as the first half was actually pretty interesting. Next up I'm watching: ZOMBIE HIGH TORSO (thx again man!) UNCLE SAM DEADLY HARVEST SHOWER OF BLOOD STILL LIFE Ever seen any of these my friend? _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. Ever seen any of these my friend? I might have seen Deadly Harvest, no recollection as to what it's about. Shower of Blood sounds familiar as well, Uncle Sam - I've seen it on dusty shelves many times haha, I guess something or someone stopped me from renting it. I don't think Zombie ran out of funds - he simply doesn't know how to make a movie set in the present days LOL, he's good at re-creating the 70s look but that's all he's good at. Note how good the acting is up until his wife shoots herself watching home movies, and then flops when it's three decades later. Even McDowell doesn't look convincing, his grey hair does all the acting for him.

| Hey man, Check out "STILL LIFE" I found the DVD at Walmart for like $3.88. Great fukkin movie/slasher about "The Art Killer" whom turns his victims into numerous art pieces. Very good movie 100%! _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. Canadian Extreme Metal & Experimental Noize Distribution: http://skullfuckingmetal.blogspot.com

I really liked Zombies previous 2 films. _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. Canadian Extreme Metal & Experimental Noize Distribution: http://skullfuckingmetal.blogspot.com

There's quite a few horror movies right now at the Dufferin Walmart Mall incase your interested at $3.88 each. Most of them are "BrainDead" B-Flicks. UNCLE SAM turned out to be VERY good! Picture a slasher film with good levels of gore that seemed like it came from the 80's. I also watched HOUSE last night hehe I haven't seen it since the 80s...what a cheeze fest!! _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. GATE 2 RETURN TO THE NIGHTMARE up next Remember that one man? It's not a rip-off, it's a dvd rip as in .avi file, the movie's the real deal. House 2...from what I've heard parts 1,2,3, and 4 have nothing in common, is that true? I've only seen House 1, it was a shit fest, esp. the part where he 's in Vietnam and the 'jungle' looks like a park LOL Gate 2 I haven't seen, but who can forget Gate 1 haha, a true Canadian classic Tonite and perhaps tomorrow I'm gonna try to watch: Entrails of a Virgin REC. (new reality-style zombie flick) American Gothic
