| City of the Owl was a despondent film. Not a standard horror but somewhat dark and entertaining. _______________________ Holy shit! You see that fucking head come apart man? I've never seen brains like that before man!

| I'm trying to watch the rest of the Guinea Pig movies. I watched He never dies, mermaid in a manhole, and flower of flesh and blood, but there are three more and i get the feeling that they are less enjoyable. _______________________ http://codzine.net print zine #18 out now

| no, didn't you mention here already? or someone did. i've been meaning to. i think i'm gonna force myself to sit through the other guinea pigs before watching anything else though. just for completeness sake, though i've heard the ones i already saw were the better ones. it'll be on my "to watch" list though... _______________________ http://codzine.net print zine #18 out now

| Check out Halloween 3, there is so many references in it regarding the NWO its actually creepy! Seems likethe NWO hijacked the movie series as it has nothing to do with Micheal Myers like part 1 & 2 and from 4 onwards. Why is this? To take the movies star/main character out of the movie completley and use mad NWO references such as "Highway 33" ( Free Masons are obsessed with this #) as well as a 6 o'clock cerfew in the movies town as well as cameras filming the small town that its being acted up, watching every step everyone makes seriously friends, its wth checking out as it is actually really creepy! As a kid when I first swa it as I was too young to understand hidden messages in movies to this extent, _______________________ SKULLFUCKINGMETAL DISTRO/LABEL. | [u][b]School of the Holy Beast – Seijuu Gakuen This was pretty damn good, and I didn't expect much considering most of it is topless nuns beating each other with whips and rose thorns (but you also may like it if you are into that sort of thing). Has some good humor making fun of religion, too. Some scenes try too hard to be arty and in slow motion, but it's actually a decent revenge tale set in a convent.
I also finally got around to watching Joerg Buttgereit's Der Todesking, which was predictably slow-paced but interesting in its own way. Schramm is still my favorite of his films though. _______________________ http://codzine.net print zine #18 out now

| recently watched Corpse Fucking Art, documentary on some Buttgereit films (both Nekromantiks and der todesking). Was slightly disappointing, not much insight into the films so much as a lot of talk about using pig's eyes and filling eyesockets with honey and so on. Too much special effects talk (not that I mind it, but I would prefer other stuff too). _______________________ http://codzine.net print zine #18 out now
